Chinese battery storage maker Sungrow has won an order from EDF Renewables Israel for the supply of liquid-cooling storage systems for energy storage projects with a combined capacity of 127 MWh in the country.

The order concerns Sungrow’s PowerTitan technology which will be integrated into six sites across different locations, according to a press release published on Monday.

“These projects pipeline is part of a continuous relationship with EDF Renewables Israel following the successful signing of previous 50 MWh projects,” Sungrow said.

The deal with the Israeli renewables arm of French utility EDF comes after Sungrow sealed last month a contract to provide the equipment needed for a 100-MW/260-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in the UK.
