SunPower names new finance head after COO appointment

US solar technology and energy services company SunPower Corp (NASDAQ:SPWR) on Monday appointed Elizabeth Eby as its chief financial officer (CFO) with effect from May 30, 2023.

Eby comes from high-speed digital optics specialist NeoPhotonics Corporation, where she served as CFO. Before that, she held several senior roles at Intel Corporation.

"I am confident that [Eby’s] leadership will be an asset as we continue to scale our business and increase SunPower's market share during this period of high growth for the solar industry,” commented CEO Peter Faricy.

At the very start of the month, SunPower also announced the appointment of Jennifer Johnston as the company’s new executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO). Johnston officially assumed her role on May 8.
