Coca-Cola Europacific seals virtual solar PPA with Engie Australia
Sep 19, 2024 5:33 CEST(ADPnews) - Nov 5, 2010 - Chinese solar panel manufacturer Suntech Power Holdings (FRA:S9H) and Australian renewable energy company Infigen Energy (ASX:IFN) have applied for state funding for four solar projects in Australia worth AUD 780 million (USD 791m/EUR 557m).
Business news service Bloomberg reported today that the companies hope to benefit from the Australian programme for solar flagship projects. It has a budget of AUD 1.5 billion, to be awarded for the construction of solar thermal and photovoltaic (PV) plants in Australia over six years.
A decision on the funding will be made in the first half of 2011, Infigen spokesman Richard Farrell said today.
