Swiss-based Zorg Biogas Designs/Equips Biogas Plant in Moldova

Swiss group Zorg Biogas said it has montaged biogas plant equipment at a bioethanol distillery in the central Moldovan city of Hincesti.

The start-up of the plant is scheduled for August, Zorg Biogas said in a statement on Monday.

Zorg Biogas designed the biogas plant, supplied equipment and supervised the montage.

The feedstock will be 200 tonnes per day of distillery spent grain and 40 tonnes of manure from a local cattle farm, the statement added.

Zorg Biogas Group has executed engineering services for biogas in 12 countries, designing, procuring and constructing about 40 biogas plants.
