World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTFeb 25, 2013 – Zurich-based photovoltaic (PV) system solutions provider Bicsolar will supply inverters for a solar park with capacity of 20 MW in Neuhardenberg, Brandenburg, SolarServer reported Saturday, citing the company.
The order was placed by solar project developer BaySolar AG, part of the Bay Energy Group.
The solar facility was constructed in five weeks and is part of a big 145 MW solar project in Germany. It is located on a former military air base, where solar plants with capacity of 120 MW have already been installed.
Bicsolar entered the photovoltaics market in 2012 and managed to install PV systems with capacity of 60 MW in just six months.
