The Public Buildings Administration of the Luxembourg government has opened a tender for the installation of 209 kW of photovoltaic (PV) systems at the Lycee Technique du Centre secondary school, one of the largest in the country.

The scope of work will include the installation of two PV plants, with capacities of 66 kW and 142.56 kWp each, six inverters, related equipment and wiring works. Bids will be accepted by April 4, 2019, and will be opened on the same day.

The term of the contract will be 35 working days and will not be subject to renewal. Works under the project are set to begin in the third quarter, according to a notice in the EU’s Tenders Electronic Daily (TED).

The Public Buildings Administration noted that the offered price will not be the only criterion in the selection. The contract that will be awarded will not be divided into lots, while its estimated value was not disclosed.
