Theolia stock jumps on H1 2011 results

Sep 2, 2011 - French wind energy group Theolia (EPA:TEO) saw its shares jump 9.52% to EUR 1.15 at close on Euronext Paris on Thursday following the release of improved first-half financial results.
The company narrowed its first-half net loss to EUR 6.9 million (USD 9.8m) from year-earlier EUR 28.5 million.
Theolia swung to EUR 758 million in operating profit, against the operating loss of EUR 8.5 million in the first half of 2010.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at EUR 7.6 million, up from negative EBITDA of EUR 1.5 million.
Meanwhile, the revenue sank to EUR 27 million from EUR 99 million.
