Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTCHISINAU (Moldova), January 20 (SeeNews) – Three companies with foreign owners plan to invest a total of 2.0 million euro ($2.7 million) to start production in Moldova's Balti free economic zone, the country's economy ministry said on Monday.
Italprod plans to invest 1.2 million euro in the production of grape-processing equipment, the ministry said in a statement.
Production is estimated to start in the first quarter of the year and the company plans to employ 50 people in the first phase of its project. It estimates its sales will amount to 4.0 million lei ($302,400/223,300 euro) per year.
Ferpont will invest 500,000 euro in a steel structures production unit where it plans to employ nine people. Production is estimated to be launched in the first half of the year and sales are expected to top 1.0 million euro per year.
Energy Solaris will invest 100,000 euro in the production of equipment that transforms solar energy into heating.
The Balti free economic zone is located in northern Moldova.
