Three projects of Albioma win at France's solar power plus storage tender

Three projects of Albioma win at France's solar power plus storage tender Albioma’s first solar power plant with integrated storage has been installed on the roof of a shopping centre in Saint-Pierre, on Reunion Island. All rights reserved.

French power producer Albioma SA (EPA:ABIO) yesterday said three of its projects were selected in the recently announced solar power plus storage tender for France's overseas departments and territories.

Albioma has been assigned three projects for photovoltaic plants with a total installed capacity of 5.9 MWp, or 17% of the total capacity distributed among the winners.

The development of these three projects represents an overall investment of some EUR 13 million (USD 14.7m), the company said in a press release.

Albioma has been developing photovoltaic projects with integrated storage since 2014. Added to the 75 MWp it already has in operation, the new projects include 2.6 MWp across two rooftop projects on Reunion Island and a 3.3 MWp ground-based project for a non-hazardous waste storage facility in Guadeloupe.
