Bahrain is seeking concept proposals for a solar photovoltaic (PV) project at the Askar landfill site in the Southern Governate of the Kingdom.

The Request for Concept (RFC) was issued last week by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). The deadline for applicants is April 11.

As part of its National Renewable Energy Action Plan (NREAP), Bahrain aims to build 255 MW of solar capacity by 2025 and 700 MW by 2030.
