Bolivia's Empresa Nacional de Energia (ENDE) has set June 6 as the deadline for proposals from experienced solar companies interested in a 50-MW turnkey solar contract in the country.

The state-owned utility is looking for a company or group to take on the design, procurement and construction of the photovoltaic (PV) power plant in the western department of Oruro. A visit to the site is planned for April 27, while an information meeting will take place on April 29.

As previously reported, the French Development Agency (AFD) has committed to support the PV project with some EUR 60 million (USD 68m) in total.
