Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTChina’s Shunfeng International Clean Energy Ltd (HKG:1165) said that Xin Luo, its CEO, and Jianmin Shi, executive director and vice chairman, are leaving the company today.
The company is looking for a new CEO. It Luo has resigned to “focus on his other personal business”, while Shi is stepping down to spend more time “on his personal career development”. There are no disagreements with the board of directors.
Shunfeng holds 63% in US photovoltaic (PV) cells manufacturer Suniva Inc, which recently called for measures to protect the US solar industry from imports from all geographies. The Chinese parent is a fully integrated photovoltaic (PV) company and also has other clean energy businesses. It posted a CNY-2.4-billion (USD 350m/EUR 313m) net loss for 2016.
