South Korean wind tower maker CS Wind Corp (KRX:112610) announced this week a KRW-9.23-billion (USD 7.9m/EUR 7.4m) order from Acciona Windpower for projects in Central and South America.

Under the terms of the contract, the towers for Acciona Windpower will be supplied by CS Wind’s production unit in Vietnam. Deliveries are to be completed by August 2017.

Details on the wind farm projects were not disclosed.

Acciona Windpower is now owned by German wind turbine maker Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1).
