World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTThe European Investment Bank (EIB) is considering providing USD 43 million (EUR 39m) of financing to back a 143-MW solar power plant in the Indian state of Telangana.
The funds will support the construction and operation of the USD-155-million project, being proposed by Renew Solar Energy (Telangana) Pvt Ltd.
Information that the project is under appraisal appeared on EIB's website on Thursday, when the bank also revealed it is considering financing for another solar project in Telangana, of 100 MW.
