NTPC’s green energy arm eyes USD 1.2bn from Indian IPO
Sep 19, 2024 11:52 CESTIndia's National Aluminium Co Ltd (BOM:532234), or NALCO, has dedicated 100.8 MW of wind farms built by Suzlon Energy (BOM:532667), the Indian wind power group said on Monday.
The state-owned aluminum products manufacturer held the inauguration event in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, while the wind power plants are located in Gondikota, Andhra Pradesh and in Jath, Maharashtra. The facilities each consist of 24 units of 2.1 MW Suzlon wind turbines. They were installed and commissioned by the turbine manufacturer.
Suzlon announced a 50.4-MW order, including 10-year operations and maintenance agreement, from NALCO in January last year, saying it would bring NALCO's Suzlon-powered wind portfolio to 100.8 MW.
