Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTChinese solar power products maker JA Solar Holdings Co Ltd (NASDAQ:JASO) said today it has supplied half-cell modules totalling 6.5 MW for a project in Namibia.
This is the first application of half-cell modules in utility scale projects, JA Solar said in a statement. The company claims that this type of module optimises interconnection technology, cuts resistance loss, boosts current flow and has a better temperature coefficient compared with conventional offerings.
The project was developed by SunEQ GmbH and Gildemeister Energy Solutions GmbH. The latter is in charge of the construction work.
