J-Power signs solar VPPA for Tokyo Metro in Japan
Sep 18, 2024 15:26 CESTJapanese pharmaceutical company Daiichi Sankyo Co Ltd (TYO:4568) said today it intends to install a 3.3-MW solar array at its Onahama plant in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture.
The solar power facility will be able to produce some 4,155 MWh annually for onsite use upon completion in fiscal 2020. NTT Facilities Inc will build, own and maintain the solar park.
Daiichi Sankyo seeks to reduce its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 27% by 2030 as compared to fiscal 2015.
