Jordanian solar modules producer Philadelphia Solar Co announced Monday it had completed an 8.2-MWp turnkey photovoltaic (PV) project for Abdali Medical Center in Amman.

Philadelphia Solar said that this is the world’s largest PV farm built for a single health care facility. The system’s design features 25,090 Philadelphia Solar polycrystalline panels of 325 Wp each and mounting structure solutions stretching across an 86,000 square-metre field.

The PV array is set to enter commercial operation on August 27.
