Renewable power generation in Portugal, excluding large hydro, fell to 82.3 GWh on November 15 from 95.6 GWh in the previous day, according to data by power utility Redes Energéticas Nacionais (REN).

Wind power generation stood at 59.0 GWh, marking a 17.71% day-on-day decline. It peaked at 3,718.0 MW.

Solar photovoltaic (PV) generation was flat at 2.3 GWh.

A recent report by the Portuguese Association of Renewable Energy (APREN) shows renewable power plants generated about 60% of Portugal's electricity in the first 10 months of 2016. Excluding hydropower generation, the share was 27%.
