Chinese solar products maker Risen Energy Co Ltd (SHE:300118) said on Monday it will assist Cuba in building a 3.9-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) park.

Risen Energy has entered into an agreement to provide 260-W high-efficiency polycrystalline modules, aluminum alloy frames, matching junction boxes, solar sealants and other products for the project.

"This is a great opportunity for our company to promote further the relations between China and Cuba,” said chairman Wang Hong. It is also the first time for Risen Energy to supply products for the Cuban solar PV market, it added.
