Iran has signed a deal with a South Korean firm of ABP International for the construction of a 100-MW photovoltaic (PV) plant in Isfahan province, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.

Aran va Bidgol governor, Ahmad Reza Saeedi, was cited as saying on Monday that the solar project will require a total investment of some EUR 350 million (USD 385.1m). It will be installed in the city of Kashan in the county of Aran va Bidgol, according to the report.

The land for the facility is expected to be allocated within three months. The PV park will be handed over to an Iranian partner six years after it has been put into operation.
