Guarantee Risk Solar Energy and South Africa-based Bushveld Energy have joined hands to jointly develop three solar projects in Zimbabwe with a combined capacity of 250 MW, the Chronicle reports.

Оne of the facilities, of 100 MW, will be installed in Goromonzi district, in Mashonaland East Province, while another one of the same size will be located in Bulawayo, Matabeleland region. The third photovoltaic (PV) plant will have a capacity of 50 MW and will be situated in the capital Harare.

According to the report, the overall investment in the three projects is expected to be at least USD 400 million (EUR 357.7m). The capacity will be installed in phases.
