Solar Steel, a subsidiary of Madrid-based Gonvarri Steel Services, said on Thursday it will supply 34 MW of single-axis trackers for a solar photovotaic (PV) project in Nacaome, Honduras.

No more details were given about the project, but it will be the company's third solar plant in the country.

For this project, Solar Steel is supplying trackers of the TracSmart model, which features wireless communication and self-powered motor drive, allowing for a reduction of installation and wiring costs, the firm said.

Solar Steel has more than 7 GW of manufactured and installed solar products.
