Spanish-Chinese power electronics equipment maker Wynnertech said on Monday it has received a 20-MW inverters supply order for a solar project in Iran.

Chinese firm Shenzhen Farad Electric Co Ltd, which serves as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the project, has made an order for 20 MW of the ALBA 4x photovoltaic (PV) inverters. The value of the deal was not mentioned.

The project is being developed by Swiss company Global Discovery AG near Mahan.

Wynnertech also announced it has successfully concluded the certification procedures of its ALBA PV inverter. The product passed tests at the facilities of the China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI) and of China Quality Control (CQC) in Nanjing, China.
