World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTEuropean renewable energy technology wholesaler CCL Energy Group and China’s Trina Solar Co Ltd (SHA:688599) on Wednesday announced a new framework agreement that will facilitate the supply of over 1.2 GW of solar PV modules to CCL customers across Europe.
“The term and volume of the agreement underscores the sustained growth anticipated by both organisations in the European residential and commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors,” the companies said in a joint statement.
The deal will allow CCL customers to be among the first to receive Trina Solar's newly launched Vertex S+ 505W double-glass n-type module. This module, part of the Vertex S+ series, offers higher power output, ultra-low degradation rates, and lower balance of system costs compared to p-type solar panels. Additionally, the modules in the Vertex S+ range come with a 30-year performance warranty, according to the announcement.
CCL Energy Group includes UK-based business CCL Components and CCL Solar with shops in mainland Europe that distribute to Benelux and other parts of the continent.
