Fiba Group unit eyes EBRD loan for 75 MW of new solar in Turkey
Sep 17, 2024 15:21 CESTISTANBUL (Turkey), December 22 (SeeNews) – Turkish power producer Aksa Enerji [BIST:AKSEN] said on Monday it has put into operation 13 megawatts (MW) of additional capacity at its Sebenoba wind farm in the southern Turkish province of Hatay, raising the installed capacity of the facility to 43 MW.
The additional capacity at the wind farm consists of two wind turbines of 2.0 MW each and three wind turbines of 3.0 MW each, supplied by Vestas, Aksa Enerji said in a bourse filing.
The company plans to expand the capacity of the wind farm further by 17 MW at the beginning of 2015.
The 13 MW capacity extension at the Sebanoba wind farm brings Aksa Enerji’s total installed wind power capacity to 239 MW and the company’s total installed power capacity to 2,140 MW, it added.
