Turkey's Demirer Enerji seeks clearance to issue 70 mln euro in bonds

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 18 (SeeNews) – Turkish renewable energy company Demirer Enerji Uretim ve Sanayi [BIST:DENRJ] said it has applied for regulatory approval to issue up to 70 million euro ($86 million) in bonds in international markets.

The company plans to issue the bonds in one or more issues with different series, maturities and interest rates to qualified investors, it said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

Demirer Enerji has 16 wind power plants with combined capacity of 467 megawatts (MW) in its portfolio and produces around 650 million kWh electricity per year, according to local broker and asset manager Unlu & Co, which arranged the company’s 25 million lira 18-month bond issue in September.
