Fiba Group unit eyes EBRD loan for 75 MW of new solar in Turkey
Sep 17, 2024 15:21 CESTISTANBUL (Turkey), November 24 (SeeNews) – Turkish energy company Zorlu Enerji [BIST:ZOREN] said on Monday its wholly-owned wind power unit Zorlu Ruzgar Elektrik Uretim has secured 81.3 million euro ($100.9 million) in financing for two wind power projects with total capacity of 80.3 megawatts (MW) from Turkey’s TSKB and Germany’s Bayerische Landesbank.
Turkish industrial and development bank TSKB will provide a 40 million euro loan with maturity of 12 years, including a two-year grace period. German lender Bayerische Landesbank will extend a 15-and-a-half-year 41.3 million euro loan with a grace period of one-and-a-half years, Zorlu Enerji said in a bourse filing. The Bayerische Landesbank loan will be guaranteed by the German export credit agency Euler Hermes, Zorlu Enerji noted.
Zorlu Ruzgar plans to install the two wind farms in the Bahce district of the southern Turkish province of Osmaniye.
