Spain’s solar tracker supplier PV Hardware (PVH) announced on Tuesday the successful completion of the panels assembly for a 130-MWp solar farm in Turkey with the project expected to be formally delivered to the end client -- renewables company Ecogreen Energy, in the coming weeks.

The solar park is expected to achieve full capacity before 2024. It is realised under the fourth round of Turkey’s Renewable Energy Resources Zone tender programme, locally known as YEKA and is aligned with the country’s ambition to achieve 10 GW of operational solar power by 2027.

The 100-MW AC project, dubbed Nigde Bor Solar, is situated in Nigde, central Turkey. Another company contracted to work on its development is US industrial conglomerate General Electric which was tapped to provide its Flexinverter Solar Power Station.
