Schroders Greencoat buys 28.5-MW solar park in England
Nov 13, 2024 11:18 CESTUK investment firm Soho Square Capital said today that it has made a growth investment in Live Manage Facilitate Limited, trading as LMF Energy Services, a local installer of renewable energy measures such as heat pumps, solar panels, electric storage heaters and insulation.
Launched in 2016, LMF has so far completed over 20,000 energy efficiency installations in properties across the UK. It has worked mostly in low-income households, with funding provided by energy suppliers mandated by Ofgem under the government’s ECO4 scheme.
The partnership with Soho Square will help LMF speed up its expansion plans, with a focus on services under government schemes as well as broadening its private solar installation. Soho Square will also support LMF in further enhancing its operational structure and its capable management team, commercial and social housing business, a press statement says.
“With its strong reputation with customers and national footprint making it an attractive supplier for larger projects, there is enormous scope to expand the business and we are excited to put our considerable experience in supporting SMEs to help LMF’s continued growth,” said Joe Tebbutt, principal at Soho Square Capital.
The financial details of the investment were not disclosed.
