Ukrspirt launches bioethanol plant in Ternopil

Ukrainian state-run spirits group Ukrspirt has put online an upgraded bioethanol plant in the western region of Ternopil, it said on Thursday.

Investments in the plant’s modernisation stood at UAH 60 million (USD 2.5m/EUR 2.3m), with financing coming from Armenian investors, according to the statement.

The facility was launched on the premises of Zarubynsky spirits plant, creating 100 jobs.
