UK-based renewables investor Quercus Investment Partners Ltd is looking to sell its European portfolio consisting of 320 MW of wind and solar power assets, Reuters reported Monday citing a knowledgeable source.
The assets in question are located in the UK, Spain, Italyand in Eastern Europe. Some of them are owned by a joint venture (JV) with Swiss Life Asset Managers, the source told Reuters.
Quercus will most likely sell the portfolio privately, instead of going through an auction. The transaction is expected to take place after the summer, the source said.
