US Aspire Intl acquires Canadian Future Solar Developments

(ADPnews) - Jun 28, 2011 - US digital multimedia solutions provider Aspire International Inc (PINK:APIT) yesterday said it had bought a controlling stake in Canadian private solar firm Future Solar Developments Inc.

Aspire did not disclose the terms of the acquisition.

Future Solar is engaged in the installation of solar power plants that qualify for the feed-in tariff programme of Canadian province of Ontario.

According to Aspire, Future Solar had received a 1.8-MW solar power plant construction deal and is to apply for an 18-MW solar project deal with the Ontario government. In the longer term the company plans to build a 303 MW solar power plant.
