US Ecotec takes over French gas leak detection specialist Gazomat

June 14 (SeeNews) – US Ecotec International Holdings has completed a deal with Oklahoma-based TD Williamson Inc to buy its French gas leak detection subsidiary Gazomat, in a move to further reinforce its leak detection and related services provided to the energy industry, Gazomat said on Monday.

The transaction allows Ecotec to expand its geographical presence and sector capabilities as the two businesses serve complementary markets and use similar core technologies, according to the statement.

Gazomat specialises in the production of high-performance portable gas leak detection instruments and first-responder environmental safety equipment. It also provides leak detection services.

Financial details of the deal were not provided.
