ABP presents plan to turn Port of Barrow into renewables hub
Sep 18, 2024 14:41 CESTJan 20, 2012 - Swedish state-owned utility Vattenfall AB has chosen Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) as preferred supplier for a potential extension of UK offshore wind farm Kentish Flats, Recharge said today.
Vestas may provide between 10 and 17 turbines of 3 MW each for the 90-MW wind farm, in the Outer Thames Estuary.
Vattenfall has applied for permission of the farm extension and expects a decision in 2014.
