Deutsche Windtechnik wins turbines maintenance contract in Sweden
Sep 19, 2024 14:55 CESTNov 4, 2013 - Swedish utility Vattenfall said it had set dates for five information events in the villages surrounding its 50-MW wind farm project in Nocton Fen, Lincolnshire.
Earlier in October, the energy company said it is examining the potential for the development of a wind park with between 17 and 23 turbines to be built on an area of 9 square km (3.5 square miles).
Vattenfall will continue to seek the opinion of the local residents and businesses about the possible effects of a wind farm in their area, the company said. The information sessions will start on November 14 and will continue until November 23.
Vatenfall is currently operating three onshore and three offshore wind farms across the UK and has another two onshore farms under construction.
