Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) has received two wind turbine orders in Germany, adding 58 MW to its third-quarter order intake, the turbine maker said on Friday.

Both orders were placed by German wind energy promoter Uhl Windkraft.

One of the orders is for the wind project called Brand, which will use 36 MW of turbines. Vestas said it would deliver five units of its V172-7.2 MW turbines for Brand during the first quarter of 2026. Commissioning of the machines is planned for the third quarter of the same year.

The second project is called Lautertal. This 22-MW wind farm will consist of three pieces of the V172 -7.2 MW turbines due for delivery in the second quarter of 2026, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Uhl Windkraft opted for 25-year AOM5000 services agreements for the turbines at both sites.
