Denmark's Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) on Monday disclosed a wind turbine order it received from customers in the Baltic region for a 124-MW project in Lithuania.

The order includes supply, delivery and commissioning of 20 pieces of the V162-6.2 MW turbines for the Telsiai wind farm project, recently acquired by Latvian state-owned utility Latvenergo AS from Estonia’s Utilitas Wind.

Utilitas Wind, which serves as project manager on the Telsiai development, and Latvenergo jointly placed the order with Vestas. Their contract also includes servicing of the turbines throughout their life cycle under an Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, Vestas said in Monday’s announcement.

The Danish turbine maker expects turbine delivery and commissioning activities to take place in early 2026.
