Out of all deals disclosed between September 20 and September 30, three come from Germany, including a contract for the 960-MW He Dreiht offshore project in the North Sea that will be equipped with 64 of Vestas’ V236-15.0 MW turbines with installation planned to start in the second quarter of 2025.
The Danish firm has also secured a 62-MW order in Germany from a unit of Ebert Erneuerbare Energien Unternehmensgruppe for the Beuchte wind park in Lower Saxony which will utilise 10 of its V162-6.2 MW turbines. Additionally, a prototype of the V162-7.2 MW wind turbine will be supplied to Buergerwindpark Janneby eG for the Janneby wind project in Schleswig-Holstein. Deliveries under these orders are set to start in the first half of 2024.
Meanwhile, some 25 turbines will go to Sweden under a 147-MW deal with SR Energy AB for the Horshaga wind park in Uppvidinge, southern Sweden. In the first quarter of 2025, Vestas will start delivering 20 V162-6.2 MW and five V150-4.5 MW wind turbines.
The Danish wind turbine manufacturer has also been contracted for 18 of its V150-4.2 MW wind turbines in Italy for a project whose name and owner were not disclosed. Deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
In Turkey, Vestas will provide four of its V162-6.2 MW devices. The deal was inked with Sanko Holding and concerns the Akyel wind park to be located in the Karaman Region. Work on the contract is set to start in the first half of 2024.
Another firm turbine order will be executed in Austria, starting in the third quarter of 2024. It is for 11 V136-4.2 MW machines which will be installed at the Engelhartstetten wind park in Lower Austria. It was placed by Engelhartstetten GmbH, a subsidiary of WindLandKraft GmbH.
