Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) said on Wednesday it has secured two orders in Germany for a combined 194 MW of turbines.

Under one of the deals, the company will provide MIBRAG GmbH with 15 units of its V162-6.2MW turbine, or a total of 93 MW, to be installed at the Breunsdorf project in Sachsen. Delivery is due to start in the second quarter of 2026, with commissioning planned for the first quarter of the following year.

Under the second agreement, Vestas will provide Windpark Reinhardswald GmbH & Co. KG with 101 MW of turbines for Windpark Reinhardswald in Hessen. The project will feature 18 V150-6.0 MW machines in 5.6 MW operating mode, with delivery starting in the second quarter of 2025 and commissioning expected in the final quarter of 2026.

The orders include service agreements of 20 and 25 years, respectively.

Including these two orders, Vestas’ announced order intake in the fourth quarter currently stands at 654 MW.

Vestas recently reported a third-quarter net profit of EUR 127 million (USD 134.8m), almost quadrupling from a year back, and kept its full-year guidance for all metrics, apart from earnings in the Service segment.
