Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) said on Thursday that it has received an order to supply its turbines for a 319-MW wind farm project located in the state of Baja California, Mexico.

Sempra Infrastructure, a unit of US utility Sempra (NYSE:SRE), ordered Vestas turbines for its Cimarron wind power development in the municipality of Tecate. Cimarron is the third phase of the Energia Sierra Juarez Wind Complex, which is set to have a total installed capacity of 582 MW.

Vestas plans to deliver the machines in the fourth quarter of 2024. Commissioning is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2025.
