Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) has signed a contract on the delivery of 50 MW of wind turbines for a project in the southeastern Romanian county of Constanta.

The order comprises three V150-4.0MW and nine V150-4.2MW machines and goes along with a 20-year service agreement.

The delivery of the turbines is set to start in the third quarter of 2025, while the commissioning of the wind farm is expected in the last quarter of the same year, a press statement says.

Vestas’ customer is the entity behind the project -- Eolenerg Project SRL. The latter was acquired by Res Terranet Holding SRL and Greenvolt Power Wind Poland sp zoo in 2023.
