Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) announced today that it has secured a 55-MW order for an onshore wind project in Germany, dubbed Gnutz-Ost Timmaspe.

The customer is BWP GT Betriebs GmbH & Co KG, a press statement says.

The contract comprises six of Vestas’ V162-6.2 MW turbines, plus three of its V150-6.0 MW machines. It also includes a 20-year service agreement.

The delivery of the turbines is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025, while the facility is expected to be commissioned in the second half of the same year.

The agreement with BWP GT Betriebs is part of Vestas’ third-quarter order intake.
