Deutsche Windtechnik wins turbines maintenance contract in Sweden
Sep 19, 2024 14:55 CESTDec 30, 2011 - Danish wind-turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) announced today an order for 23 of its V112-3.0 MW turbines for the Jadraas project in Sweden.
The contract was awarded by Swedish Arise Windpower AB (STO:AWP) and UK private equity funds manager Platina Partners LLC.
Vestas will supply, install and commission the turbines. The deal also includes a 15-year service agreement.
The Jadraas project is scheduled to be operational in early 2013.
Vestas said its order intake amounted to 6.004 GW year-to-date. By comparison, it target orders for 7-8 GW in the full 2011.
