Vestas wins order for 310 MW wind power capacity in Kenya

Jan 6, 2012 - Danish wind-turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) announced today it had won a conditional order for 310 MW in Kenya, confirming market rumours.

When the order becomes firm and unconditional, the Danish firm will make an announcement, it said.

Vestas will deliver turbines for the Kenyan Lake Turkana Wind Power project in the northern part of the African country.
