Alternus scraps deal for 80-MWp solar project purchase in US
Sep 20, 2024 7:40 CESTNov 14, 2011 - Green Solar has renewed its collaboration with utility Getelec Electricite, a unit of Vinci Energies, for the construction of a photolvoltaic (PV) installation in Guadeloupe, Vinci Energies said last week.
Works already began in September and will take five months.
With a capacity of 1 MWp, the PV ground installation will be equipped with 4,136 solar panels over a surface covering 1.5 ha. The facility will be able to produce electricity which will be enough for 300 households.
Getelec Electricite will provide the solar panels and other related equipment and will be also responsible for adding the power output to the national grid.
