Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTNov 19, 2013 - French renewable energy group Voltalia (EPA:MLVLT) yesterday said its net attributable loss in the first half of the year widened to EUR 5.1 million from EUR 4.7 million a year earlier.
Sales of electricity derived from renewable energies rose by 20.9% to EUR 7.7 million, however, the group's operating costs also increased to EUR 5.7 million from EUR 3.9 billion. The group said it had taken a tax provision of EUR 1.9 million, which, if excluded, would have seen its operating and net earnings rise.
Shares in Voltalia had gained 4.35% to EUR 0.48 by 1500 CET on Euronext Paris today.
