Indian solar panel maker Waaree Energies Ltd said on Tuesday that it has won an order to supply 90 MW of its modules for a project in Rajasthan.

It was placed by fellow Indian, Delhi NCR-based independent renewable power producer Juniper Green Energy Pvt Ltd. Juniper Green ordered a supply of 540/545Wp dual glass bifacial module to use in a solar farm project in the city of Bikaner.

“We’re excited to partner with Waaree Energies on this project. Their bifacial modules perfectly complement our vision of driving innovation in sustainable energy,” commented Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy.

No other details were disclosed.

Waaree Energies says it is India’s largest manufacturer of solar PV modules, boasting an aggregate installed capacity of 12 GW, as of June 30, 2023.
