The wind farm has 26 Vestas turbines and is owned by a joint venture between Finnish energy company Fortum Oyj (HEL:FORTUM) and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). They have 550 MW of wind farms in Rostov and Ulyanovsk Oblasts and the Republic of Kalmykia which supply power to businesses like Sber, Procter & Gamble, Shchekinoazot, and Leroy Merlin, RAWI pointed out.
In Russia, businesses and organisations can directly purchase green power from wind and solar parks to reduce their emissions.
