(ADPnews) - Nov 5, 2010 - Australian clean energy company Wasabi Energy Ltd (ASX:WAS) said today it raised GBP 4.9 million (USD 7.9m/EUR 5.6m) from a placement to British institutional investors.
Wasabi will start trading on the London Stock Exchange on December 3, 2010, when the company will issue 445.5 million fully-paid new shares at GBP 0.011 each.
Wasabi invests in green energy companies and projects. It plans to focus on investments in the power technology and water conservation areas.
